He lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts Bay Colony about 1630, then Yarmouth, and finally, by 1641, he settled in Yarmouth for the rest of his life.
On January 7, 1639, Thomas Hatch and nine others applied to Plymouth Colony for a grant of leave to purchase land and form a new township at a place now known as Yarmouth on the Cape Cod peninsula. The town was incorporated Jan 17, 1639.
