Death Notes
Supposedly, the deed executed by Ticey AMBROSE in 1846 says "David and Mathias are deceased". Yet David appears on the census in Morgan Co. in 1850, in court records in 1851, and with his son, Archibald M. in Illinois in 1860.

David was born about 1795 in Virginia.2 He died after 1860 in Illinois.

I have no proof that this Nancy is the daughter born 1825/1830 to David and Maria on the 1830 census; but there are few alternate possibilities, and the proximity of Nancy and Washington to David and Maria on the 1850 census makes this relationship a reasonable working hypothesis.
Ann (Nancy) Ambrose
Ann, known as Nancy, was born on February 29th, 1824 in Morgan County, Virginia.3
John Wesley Ambrose
John was born in 1827 in Clary, Frederick County, Virginia.2 He died about 1868 in Shenendoah County, Virginia.
