Louis I ("the Pious") Holy Roman Emperor
Louis, known as the Pious, was born in August 0778 in Chasseneuil, Lot-et-Garonne near Poitiers, Aquitaine, France.  He died at the age of 61 on June 20th, 0840 in Petersaue, Ingelheim, Rheinhessan, Hesse-Darmstadt.  He was buried in Aachen Cathedral.
