These crazy pelicans were flying over 2,000 feet above the ground (6,500 feet above sea level), over Walker Lake in the Nevada desert.

The mirrors reflect sunlight onto the dark spot at the top of the tower. This heats molten salt which flows down the tower to boil water, which turns steam turbines.
