The view from Joske's Thumb. I got close to the summit, but not to the top because it's a technical climb. Sir Edmund Hillary only made it this far on his first try, so I didn't feel too bad about it.

Naikorokoro Village, from Joske's Thumb. I don't think anybody there has a car. They walk about 2 miles (50 minutes) to get to the "highway" where they can catch a bus or a taxi to get to work or school. They were pretty nice. There are 18 houses in the village, and they were building another one.
