Ambrose was born about 1797 in Berkeley County, Virginia.1   Ambrose's father was Henry Ambrose and her mother is Sarah.  Her paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and her paternal grandmother is Sarah. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ambrose, Henry, Ambrose and Ambrose.  Ambrose is no longer alive.
