James Bennett

James was born in 1750 in Granville County, North Carolina. James' father was Richard Bennett III and his mother was Anne. His paternal grandparents were William Bennett and Grace. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Mark, William, Moses, Christian, Sarah, Martha, Ann and Amey. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 on March 25th, 1825 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
