Millard was born on November 21st, 1901 in Harper County, Oklahoma.  Millard's father was William Sherman Buxton and his mother was Armintia (Mintie) Lee Fox.  His paternal grandparents were William B Buxton and Jane V Whellan.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 on December 10th, 1977 in Wellington, Kansas.  He was buried in Braman, Oklahoma.
