Nancy was born in 1799 in Virginia.  Nancy's father was John Carden and her mother was Martha.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 68 in May 1867 in Jeddo, Bastrop County, Texas.  She was buried in Jeddo, Bastrop County, Texas.
