John Clover 
John was born in 1841 in Franklin County, Ohio. John's father was Henry Clover and his mother was Mary Ann Mc Kendre. His paternal grandparents were Henry Clover and Catherine Ambrose. He had four brothers and a sister, named Nancy, Adron, Benjamin, James and Rosanna. He died at the age of 55 on December 5th, 1896 in Morris County, Kansas. He was buried in Kansas.General Notes

John Clover raised this girl. Question as to who her father may have been, pension papers state that the mother swore the child to John Clover. It does not
say who her father was.
