William Charles Clover

William was born in September 1850 in Franklin County, Ohio.¹ William's father was William Clover and his mother was Sarah Graham. His paternal grandparents were Henry Clover and Catherine Ambrose. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Jeremiah, James, Fred, Charles, Elizabeth, Nancy and Rose. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
