Mary V. Crum 
Mary was born about 1833 in Highland County, Ohio.1 Mary's father was John Crum and her mother was Rachel Mc Cartney. Her paternal grandparents were Christiana Schmidt and Rev. Christian Crum Sr. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Christian, Joseph, John, Christina, Catherine and Emily. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
