He lived at Dedham until his marriage in 1697, when he removed to Roxbury for a year or two. By 1702-3 he was living in Woodstock, Connecticut., where he purchased the original share of land and the rights belonging to Nathaniel Gay. In 1772 he went to Ashford, Connecticut.
Thomas Eaton was a man of considerable wealth. He was a blacksmith and a farmer, a man of much influence in the town where he lived and died. He died at Ashford, Connecticut August 14, 1748. His wife died Aug. 20, 1748.
