Gondolfus was born in 0545 in Aquitaine, Bordeaux, France.  Gondolfus' father was Prince Munderic of Franks and his mother was Arthemia of Perthois.  His paternal grandfather was King Chloderic (the Parricide) of Franks.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 54 in 0599 in Tongres, France.
