John was born in 1611 in Coventry, Warwickshire, England and his baptism took place on July 2nd, 1602 in White Chapel, London, England.  John's father was John Hall and his mother was Pease Farmer.  His maternal grandfather was John Farmer.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 85 on July 23rd, 1696 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
