Wandy was born on August 9th, 1914 in Monroe County, Indiana.  Wandy's father was Charles T Hess and his mother was Emma Florence Franklin. He had a brother named Wayne.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Clarence, Dessie and Floney.  He died at just 2 days old on August 11th, 1914 in Monroe County, Indiana.
