Herbert Richard Kittle 
Herbert was born in 1761 in Deer Park, Orange County, New York and his baptism took place on March 20th, 1761 in Machackameck, Orange County, New York. Herbert's father was Abraham Kittle and his mother was Christina Westfall. His paternal grandparents were Richard Kittel and Rachael Van Etten; his maternal grandparents were Johannes Westfall and Apollonia Kortright. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, Moses, Jan, Daniel, Abraham, Jurian, Appolonia, Elizabeth, Susannah, Engeltje, Ingra and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 70 on January 14th, 1831 in Randolph County, Virginia.General Notes
He was married 27 June 1785 to widow Margaret Elizabeth (WHITE) STALNAKER by Jacob WESTFALL. Margaret Elizabeth (WHITE) STALNAKER was born 1756 in Frederick County, VA died 26 Mar 1846. She had two children by John STALNAKER and six children by Richard. Richard KITTLE was a famous Indian fighter.
