Thomas was born in October 1815.  Thomas' father was Thomas Loe and his mother was Frances (Fanny) Nelson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Martin, Taul, Elizabeth and Katherine.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 89 in 1904.
