William McFerron 
William was born on May 17th, 1823 in Illinois. William's father was Andrew McFerron and his mother was Martha McDonald. His maternal grandparents were Robert McDonald and Jane. He had four brothers named Ebenezer, John, Robert and Edward. He died at the age of 73 on February 25th, 1897 in Illinois. He was buried in Cobb (Hoots) Cemetery, St Clair County, Illinois.General Notes
William's family came to America from Ireland.
1860 Census has them living in Lenzburg, IL. William, a farmer, is 36, Jane is 31, Sarah-13, Martha-10, Mary-9. The three girls attend school. William is 2 and Marian is one month old. All were born in Illinois.
