Samuel Ivanhoe Ooley 
Samuel was born on May 1st, 1905 in Owen County, Indiana. Samuel's father was Ambrose Ooley and his mother was Cora (Minnie) Dell Medaris. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Ooley and Bishaba Carpenter; his maternal grandparents were William Hastings Medaris and Ruth Temperance Jeanette Melick. He had a brother and a sister, named Orestes and Lilan. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 54 on December 27th, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. He was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Owen County, Indiana.-
