Charles was born about 1914 in Colorado.  Charles' father was Charles E Reid and his mother was Florence O Robinson.  His paternal grandparents were Luther Reid and Sarah Kauffman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jerry, Walter, Grace, Gail and Avis.
