Anna was born on August 13th, 1865 in Highland County, Ohio.1   Anna's father was William Henry or Hanby Ridings and her mother was Sarah E. Swartz.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mathias Ridings and Catherine Ambrose. She had a brother and two sisters, named Elmore, Sarah and Virginia.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Crum, Effie, Mary and Minnie.  She died at the age of 71 on May 1st, 1937 in Lamont, Oklahoma.1

Anna and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on January 20th, 1884 in Ohio.1   They had three sons and three daughters, named William, Wilbur, Leo, Gracie, Dorothy and Mattie.
