Geoffrey was born about 1155.  Geoffrey's father was Geoffrey Say and his mother was Alice Maminot.  His paternal grandparents were William Say and Beatrice Mandeville; his maternal grandfather was Hugh Maminot.  He was an only child.  He died before August 26th, 1230 in Poitou, France.  He was buried in Hospital of St Mary, Dover, Kent, England.
