Edward's father was William Stourton, 2nd Baron Stourton and his mother was Margaret Chidiocke.  His paternal grandparents were John Stourton, 1st Baron Stourton and Marjory Wadham; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Chidiocke, 6th Lord FitzPayn and Katherine Lumley. He had a sister named Joan.  He died on December 13th, 1535.  He was buried in Stourton, Wiltshire, England.
