Dirk was born on December 18th, 1638 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York.  Dirk's father was Wessel Tenbroeck and his mother was Elsje.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 78 on September 18th, 1717 in Clermont, New Yotk.
