Margera was born on October 28th, 1867.  Margera's father was Abraham Teter and her mother was Mary (Polly) Ann Green.  Her paternal grandparents were Levi Teter and Annis Walker; her maternal grandparents were Francis Burdette Green and Rebecca Parker. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named George, Riley, Albert, Matthew, Lyman, Ulysses, Lincoln, Sherman, Jane and Mary.  She was the youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 60 on October 9th, 1928.
