Edna's mother was Susannah Shoemaker.  Her maternal grandparents are James Shoemaker and Susannah Newton. She had eight sisters named Eliza, Anna, Rebecca, Nannie, Elizabeth, Lorissa, Ella and L.  Edna is no longer alive.
