Adam was born about 1260 in Faxton, Northampton, England.  Adam's father was Sir Robert Welle and his mother was Isabel Periton. He had a sister named Cecilia.  He was the older of the two children.  He died on September 1st, 1311.  He was buried in Greenfield, Lincolns, England.
