Lawrence's father was Joseph Frank Wyskup and his mother was Anna (Annie) Michalski.  His paternal grandparents were Ignacy (Ike) Wyskup and Sophia Byke; his maternal grandparents were Fewronia and Gregory Michalski. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Mike, Billy, Szofia, Mary, Frances, Nellie, Helen, Rosalie and Harriette.  He died  due to Stillborn.
