Ralph de Camoys, 1st Lord Camoys 
Ralph's father was John de Camoys and his mother was Margaret de Gatesden. His paternal grandfather was Ralph de Camoys; his maternal grandfather was Sir John de Gatesden. He was an only child. He died about June 1336.General Notes
He served in the French and Scottish wars, and was taken proisoner in Scotland. In 1311 he obtained livery of some of his mother's lands. In February 1326/27 he was pardoned for siding with the Despensers in their rebellion against King Edward II.
