Port side of mast. Fore reefing lines, main halyard, topping lift, foot come through the deck into the anchor locker.
Port side of mast, anchor locker. On the other side of the mast, the aft reefing lines and solent sheet go through the same channel under the center of the boat.
Halyards: Spinnaker (2), solent, and gennaker. Fore reefing lines (3) tie onto the make to the lower left of the clutches.
Startboard mast. Spinnaker, solent, and gennaker halyards, aft reefing lines, solent sheet.
Front of the mast. The solent sheet is sideways. The halyards drop down into the locker for storage. The aft reefing lines and solent sheet (starboard side of the mast) go aft. All 6 lines on the port side go aft.
Forward end of the boom. The foot (blue) is chafed because some riggers messed up. This is significant because the reefing lines will chafe. We use strops to take the pressure off these lines when we reef for more than a couple of hours. This is common in Catana 52's (at least).
Aft port. Gennaker sheet, solent furler, spinnaker sheet, and dagger board line.
Aft starboard. Gennaker sheet, gennaker furler, spinnaker sheet, and dagger board line.
There is an access panel at the aft end of the tube containing the reefling lines, etc. It's a pain to thread a new line because it's hard to get it on the pulley.
