Harry W. Ambrose

Harry was born in June 1883 in Morgan County, West Virginia.¹ Harry's father was Peter V. Ambrose and his mother was Mariah Alice Whisner. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Anna Nancy Rizer. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Elmira, Samuel, William, Levi, Anna, Mollie, Lillie, Eva and Amanda. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had five half-brothers named Jesse, Aaron, George, E. and Jeremiah.
