Jacob Ambrose 
Jacob was born on February 11th, 1820 in Virginia.1 Jacob's father was John Bell Ambrose Sr and his mother was Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. His paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and his paternal grandmother is Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Christiana Schmidt and Rev. Christian Crum Sr. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Lewis, William, Christian, Henry, Rachel, Mary and Catherine. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on July 10th, 1900 in Ottawa County, Ohio. He was buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, Ottawa County, Ohio.1 1 -
