Lewis Ambrose

Lewis was born in 1840 in Ohio. Lewis' father was Rev. Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Sarah M. Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had five brothers and a sister, named Levi, Henry, George, William, John and Lydia. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
