Richard Basset

Richard was born in 1102 in Drayton, Staffordshire, England. Richard's father was Ralph Basset and his mother was Alice de Buci. His paternal grandparents were Thurston Basset and Thrustine; his maternal grandfather was Robert de Buci. He had two brothers named Thomas and Gilbert. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died about 1146.
