John Brooke, 7th Lord Cobham (of Kent) 
John was born after 1446. John's father was Edward Brooke, 6th Lord Cobham (of Kent) and his mother was Elizabeth Tuchet. His paternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Brooke and Joan Braybroke, Baroness Cobham (of Kent); his maternal grandparents were James Tuchet, 5th Lord Audley (of Heleigh) and Eleanor de Holland. He was an only child. He died about March 9th, 1511.General Notes
From 1491 to 1492 he was in an expedition to Flanders with King Henry VII. He fought in the Cornish insurrection at Blackheath on 24 June 1497, with Lord Abergavenny.
