John was born about 1445 in Digge’s Court, Barham, Kent, England. John's father was John Digges and his mother was Joan Bruyn. His paternal grandparents were John Digges and Juliana Horne; his maternal grandparents were Sir Maurice Bruyn and Elizabeth Retford. He was an only child. He died on December 29th, 1502.General Notes
