Joseph Hatch 
Joseph was born on March 7th, 1654 in South Sea, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Joseph's father was Jonathan Hatch and his mother was Sarah Rowley. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hatch and Grace; his maternal grandparents were Henry Rowley and Sarah Palmer. He was an only child. He died about 1735 in Falmouth, Massachusetts. He was buried in Old Burying Ground, Falmouth, Massachusetts.General Notes
Sometime before 1676, he was captain in King Phillips's War. He inherited the homestead of his father, Jonathan, in Falmouth, acquired a large estate, and exercised wide influence.
All his children moved to Conecticutt before his death except Lydia (Hatch) Gifford and Ebenezer.
