Annie May Herndon 
Annie was born on April 9th, 1843. Annie's father was William Henry Herndon and her mother was Mary Maxcy. Her paternal grandparents were Archer Gray Herndon and Rebecca Johnson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Beverly, Leigh, Lizzie and Mollie. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William, Nina and Minnie.-
