James Herndon

James was born in 1835. James' father was Joseph Herndon and his mother was Lorena. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Herndon and Susanna Haislip. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Edward, Nicholas, Sarah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children.
