Effie Arlene Hummel 
Effie was born on March 8th, 1897. Effie's father was Benjamin Frank Hummel and her mother was Levisa Ann Medaris. Her maternal grandparents were Abraham Medaris and Sarah Elisabeth Bledsoe. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Archie, Ike, James, Floyd, Lillie, Nancy, Olive and Ella. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 on February 23rd, 1981.General Notes
She married 1) Roland Parrish Walker son of Lafe Walker of Wabash Co. Illinois, on 21 Sept. 1915 in Vincennes. After the death of Roland, Effie married 2) Arley Riggins, a widower from Marco, Indiana, an old friend of the family.
