Marretje was born on March 7th, 1666 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. Marretje's father was Jacob Barentsen Kool and her mother was Marretje Leenderts Symons. Her paternal grandparents were Barent Jacobsen Kool and Marretje Leendertse de Grauw. She was an only child. She died at the age of 62 in 1728.General Notes
