Emily Meharry

Emily was born about 1832 in Highland County, Ohio. Emily's father was Hugh Meharry and her mother was Susannah "Susan" Ambrose. Her maternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. She had a brother and two sisters, named Wesley, Susan and Francis. She was the second oldest of the four children.
