Mary Ellen Moody

Mary was born in August 1850 in Salt Creek twp, Decatur County, Indiana.  Mary's father was Joseph Moody and her mother was Vesta Wilson Ross.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert Ross and Eleanor. She had a sister named Rebecca.  She was the older of the two children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Abraham, Wilson, Michael, Loudica and Talitha.  She died about December 1st, 1907.  She was buried in Seiling Cemetery, northwest of Seiling, Oklahoma.
