Carrie was born on May 13th, 1979 in Newton, Kansas. Carrie's father is Kendall Royce Shire and her mother is Sandra Sue Tucker. Her paternal grandparents were Lowell Webster Shire and Evelyn Grace Plunkett. She has a brother and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Carlie and Caitlin.
