William was born before 1227. William's father was John de Briouze and his mother was Margaret ap Llywelyn. His maternal grandfather was Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, Prince of North Wales. He had a brother named John. He had a half-sister named Maud. He died about January 6th, 1290.General Notes
He married, firstly, Aline de Multon, daughter of Thomas de Multon and Maud de Vaux. He married, secondly, Agnes de Moels, daughter of Nicholas de Moels and Hawise de Newmarch. He married, thirdly, Mary de Ros, daughter of Sir Robert de Ros and Isabel d'Aubigny, before 1271.
He lived at Bramber, Sussex, England.
