John de Courtenay 
John was born before 1242. John's father was Robert de Courtenay and his mother was Mary de Vernon. His paternal grandparents were Renaud de Courtenay and Hawise de Crucy Lady of Okehampton; his maternal grandparents were William de Reviers, 5th Earl of Devon and Mabile de Beaumont. He was an only child. He died on May 3rd, 1274.-
