Abraham Janse van Alstyne 
Abraham was born in 1660 in Meppel, Drenthe Province, Netherlands. Abraham's father was Jan Martense de Wever van Alstyne and his mother was Dirckje Harmense Boertgens. His paternal grandfather was Marten van Alstyne; his maternal grandparents were Harmen Harmense and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Lambert. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 43 on October 16th, 1703 in Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York.-
