Henry B. Ambrose

Henry was born about 1852 in Virginia.¹ Henry's father was Jacob Ambrose and his mother was Mary Caroline Touchstone. His paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. He had six brothers and a sister, named Hamilton, John, George, Edward, Thomas, William and Ann. He was the third oldest of the eight children.
