John Ferdinand Ambrose 
John was born on February 14th, 1855.1 John's father was John C. Ambrose and his mother was Rosanna A. Yost. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Ambrose and Elizabeth. He had a brother and two sisters, named Lycurgus, Mary and Martha. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 on March 3rd, 1916 in Mason City, Illinois.2 -
